Finding the perfect home can be a daunting and stressful challenge. 2SL’s expert team is committed to simplifying the process and supporting you at every phase.

Meet with us to create a vision for your ideal home

Let’s get to know each other and show how we can help you. Have an in-person buyer’s consultation with our team to refine your search and decide exactly what you want and need in a home.

Find the budget that works for you

We connect you with our mortgage partner who helps you determine the best financing options for you. During this phase you need your pay stubs, W2’s, and 2 years of tax returns. Through this process we establish your buying range and start our search for your ideal home.

Customize your email alerts and notifications

We start with what you need, more space for your family, simpler commutes, a price within your budget etc., we begin to create custom email alerts for listings that most suits your needs. Once we find a place that works for you our team begins scheduling viewings.

Schedule viewings and attend open houses

This is an exciting step, we compile a list of homes based on your criteria and budget, plus new interesting properties that may not be publicly available and / or are about to be listed. We visit a range of selected properties that suit your needs to find the perfect fit.

We have found the perfect home, time to write an offer

Now that we have identified the ideal property for you, we negotiate hard on your behalf to ensure you get the best value for your new home. Often the first offer is not accepted, so wise and experienced negotiations are key to successfully arriving at a contract that gets you the best value in the time framed you need.

Acceptance, financing, appraisal, and inspections

Now that the seller has accepted your offer and the home is under contract to purchase, we work to finalize the financing, coordinate the appraisal, and arrange for all the necessary inspections particular to your home. Our 20 years of experience in design and construction are critical to helping you do a deep assessment of the home.

Closing time

Now that we have successfully helped you navigate the financing, appraisals, and inspections, we arrange an appointment with the closing attorney, and work to ensure all appropriate paper work is in order. You bring the appropriate paperwork from the mortgage broker, and the down payment check. Be prepared to sign your name(s) a lot! Welcome to your new home!
